How Much Is My One Piece Card Worth? 2026 Price Guide
By Owlex · · 7 min read
A One Piece card is worth what its exact version sells for, and the same card number can sell for about $15 in one version and about $5,000 in another. As of October 2026, Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-118 sells for $14.75 as a regular Secret Rare and $4,990.05 as a Super Alternate Art. Identify the version first, then check recent sales.
The card number alone does not set the price. Bandai prints many cards in several versions that share one number: a regular print, an alternate art, and sometimes a manga, SP or Super Alternate Art version. Each one is its own listing with its own price.
Most value guides list famous cards and stop. This one gives a method that works on any card, shows how much the version changes the price with real October 2026 sales data, and works out what you would actually keep after TCGplayer or eBay fees.
How do you find out what your One Piece card is worth?
Read the card number, identify the version, judge the condition, then look up recent sold prices for that exact version and condition. Asking prices are not values. A card is worth what buyers have recently paid.
- Read the card number. It is printed on the card in a format like OP17-022, where OP17 is the set and 022 is the card's position in it. ST means a starter deck, EB an extra booster and P a promo.
- Note the version. Check for alternate art, manga art, an SP label or a Super Alternate Art. The next section shows what to look for.
- Judge the condition. TCGplayer defines Near Mint (NM) as cards that show minimal wear from shuffling, play, or handling. Lightly Played (LP) may have minor edge wear or scuffs. Moderately Played (MP) can have creases. Heavily Played (HP) shows major wear.
- Check sold prices. PriceCharting lists recent eBay and TCGplayer sales for each version, ungraded and graded. TCGplayer's own product pages show a market price based on recent sales.
- Check how many sales there are. A price built on two sales is a guess. A price built on several sales a week is reliable.
A scanner app can identify the card from a photo and save you typing numbers into a search box. Our comparison of the best TCG card scanner apps covers which ones handle One Piece.
How do you tell which version of a One Piece card you have?
The rarity code and the artwork tell you the version. Bandai's official product page for OP-16, The Time of Battle, lists Commons, Uncommons, Rares, Super Rares, Secret Rares, Leaders, Specials, Treasure Rare and DON!! cards as the rarities in a set, plus Super Alt-Art cards.
| Code or version | Name | What to look for |
|---|---|---|
| C, UC, R | Common, Uncommon, Rare | Letters in the bottom-right corner; most of each pack |
| L | Leader | "L" code; the card that starts in your Leader area |
| SR | Super Rare | "SR" code and a foil finish |
| SEC | Secret Rare | "SEC" code; usually the last numbers in the set |
| Alternate art (Parallel) | Same card, new art | A star above the rarity code, per TCGTalk's rarity guide |
| Manga | Manga Rare | Black-and-white art drawn like panels from the manga |
| SP | Special | "SP" label next to the rarity code; often an older character with new art |
| TR | Treasure Rare | "TR" code, listed as its own rarity by Bandai |
| Super Alternate Art | Super Parallel | The top chase version of a card, sold as a separate listing |
The code tells you where a card sits in the set. It does not tell you the price. A Secret Rare nobody plays can sell for a few dollars, while an alternate art of a popular character can sell for far more.
Which One Piece cards are worth money?
Special versions of popular characters are where the money is: manga, SP and Super Alternate Art cards. Regular prints, even at Super Rare or Secret Rare, usually sell for a few dollars to a few tens of dollars. These are PriceCharting ungraded prices for two cards from OP-17, The World's Strongest Warriors, which released in English on August 28, 2026. Prices as of October 2026.
| Card and version | Ungraded price (USD) | PSA 10 price (USD) | Sales volume (ungraded) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shanks OP17-022, Super Rare | $4.95 | No sales | About 2 per day |
| Shanks OP17-022, Alternate Art | $70.00 | No sales | Only 2 sales recorded |
| Shanks OP17-022, Manga | $1,378.66 | $2,162.50 | About 1 per day |
| Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-118, Secret Rare | $14.75 | No sales | About 1 per day |
| Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-118, Alternate Art | $39.99 | Too few sales | About 1 per day |
| Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-118, Super Alternate Art | $4,990.05 | $8,300.00 | About 3 per week |
The Manga Shanks sells for about 278 times the regular Super Rare with the same number. The Super Alternate Art Xebec sells for about 338 times the regular Secret Rare. If you search by name and number only, you can be off by thousands of dollars in either direction.
Four things drive the price: how scarce the version is, how popular the character is, condition, and play demand for the card's effect. Play demand matters less for the top versions, which are bought mainly by collectors.
Does set rotation make One Piece cards worthless?
No. Rotation limits which cards you can play in official Standard tournaments, but rotated cards stay legal in the Extra Regulation format. Bandai's Block Number system started on April 1, 2026, with the block number printed in the lower-right corner of each card.
From April 2026 to March 2027, Blocks 2 to 5 are legal in Standard and Block 1 is not. Bandai also says that Super Parallel Rare cards from past products, and cards sharing a card number, generally stay legal in Standard even if reprinted. Rotation can lower the price of a card bought mainly to play, but collector versions are priced on scarcity and character, not tournament legality.
Are Japanese One Piece cards worth less than English ones?
Often, yes. The Japanese Manga Shanks OP17-022 had an ungraded PriceCharting price of $740.00 in October 2026, about 54% of the English version's $1,378.66. Its PSA 10 price was $1,750.00, against $2,162.50 for the English card.
Japanese and English versions are separate products with separate prices, so always check the right language. A price search that mixes them will give you the wrong figure.
How much will you actually get if you sell a One Piece card?
Expect to keep roughly 80% to 96% of the sale price after marketplace fees, depending on the price and where you sell. Cheap cards lose the biggest share to fixed fees.
TCGplayer charges a 10.75% commission capped at $75 per product, plus 2.5% and $0.30 for payment processing. eBay charges collectible card game sellers without a Basic or higher Store 13.25% up to $7,500, plus a $0.30 per-order fee for orders of $10 or less and $0.40 above that. The table assumes each card sells at its PriceCharting ungraded price, with no shipping charged and before sales tax. Fees as of October 2026.
| Card | Sale price (USD) | Net on TCGplayer (USD) | Net on eBay (USD) | Kept on eBay (%) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Shanks OP17-022, Super Rare | $4.95 | $3.99 | $3.99 | 81% |
| Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-118, Alternate Art | $39.99 | $34.39 | $34.29 | 86% |
| Shanks OP17-022, Manga | $1,378.66 | $1,268.89 | $1,195.59 | 87% |
| Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-118, Super Alternate Art | $4,990.05 | $4,790.00 | $4,328.47 | 87% |
Here is the Manga Shanks on TCGplayer. 10.75% of $1,378.66 is $148.21, so the $75 cap applies. Processing is 2.5% of $1,378.66 plus $0.30, which is $34.77. That leaves $1,268.89 before your shipping cost. On eBay, 13.25% is $182.67, plus $0.40, leaving $1,195.59.
- The $75 cap favors expensive cards on TCGplayer. On the Super Alternate Art Xebec you would keep about $462 more than on eBay.
- Cheap cards are not worth selling one at a time. Fees take about 19% of a $4.95 sale before you pay for a sleeve, toploader and stamp. Sell low-value cards as playsets or lots.
For Store discounts and promoted listing costs, see our guide to eBay fees for card sellers.
Is it worth grading a One Piece card?
Grading pays only when the card is worth well over the fee raw and is likely to come back a 10. Grading means a company such as PSA inspects the card, gives it a grade from 1 to 10 and seals it in a plastic case called a slab. PSA 10, Gem Mint, is the top grade.
PSA's Standard service costs $59.99 per card for cards with a maximum insured value of $1,000, and Express costs $199.00 for cards up to $2,500, as of October 2026. Valued at its PSA 10 price of $2,162.50, the Manga Shanks falls in the Express tier.
The numbers show why grading is a bet, not a sure gain. If the Manga Shanks gets a 10, it is worth $2,162.50, which is $584.84 more than the $1,378.66 raw price after the $199.00 fee. The one recent PSA 9 sale on PriceCharting was $920.00 on October 25, 2026. At that price a 9 leaves you $657.66 worse off than selling raw. Both figures are before shipping and insurance.
A simple rule: grade only if the card looks flawless under a bright light, its raw price is at least several times the fee, and graded copies of that exact version sell regularly. For wait times and every PSA tier, see our guide to PSA grading cost.

Frequently asked
How do I know if my One Piece card is rare?
Check the rarity code on the card, such as C, UC, R, SR, SEC, SP or TR, then look at the artwork. A star above the rarity code marks an alternate art, and black-and-white panel-style art marks a Manga Rare. The version matters more than the code: in October 2026 a regular Secret Rare Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-118 sold for about $15, while its Super Alternate Art sold for about $4,990.
What is a Manga Rare One Piece card?
A Manga Rare is a Secret Rare version of a card with black-and-white artwork drawn to look like panels from the One Piece manga. Collectors treat them as top chase cards, and they are often the most valuable version of a character in a set. The Manga Shanks OP17-022 had an ungraded PriceCharting price of $1,378.66 in October 2026, against $4.95 for the regular Super Rare.
Are Japanese One Piece cards worth less than English?
Often, yes, because Japanese and English versions are priced as separate products. In October 2026 the Japanese Manga Shanks OP17-022 had an ungraded PriceCharting price of $740.00, about 54% of the English version's $1,378.66. Always check prices for the language you actually have.
Where can I check One Piece card prices for free?
PriceCharting lists recent eBay and TCGplayer sales for each version of a card, ungraded and graded, with sales volume. TCGplayer product pages show a market price based on recent sales on TCGplayer.com. eBay's sold listings filter shows what buyers actually paid.
How much does a One Piece booster pack cost?
Bandai lists an MSRP of $4.99 per pack for OP-16, The Time of Battle, which released in English on June 12, 2026. Store and online prices can be higher for popular sets. Most cards in a pack are worth little, and the value is concentrated in rare alternate art, manga and SP pulls.
